FHF Global Summit 2024 offers Travel Awards to qualified individuals to attend the Annual Summit. These awards are intended to facilitate the participation for those who might not otherwise be able to attend.

Previous FHF Global Summit travel awardees are not eligible.
Selection Criteria

Awardees will be selected by the Travel Award Committee based on a combination of need and commitment to the field of climate and health.
Application Process and Timeline

May 3, 2024: Submit FHF Global Summit Travel Award application form.

May 10, 2024: Applicants notified of travel award decisions.

May 17, 2024: If selected, Travel Awardees fill out and submit the Travel Sponsorship guidelines and begin booking travel.
Travel Awards
The FHF Global Summit Travel Awards are not intended to cover all costs associated with travel; rather they are intended to reduce the economic burden of travel on those who may not be otherwise able to attend. Therefore, the travel awards will only cover the costs listed below. Please pay special attention to the costs not covered.
What is Covered:

Economy class roundtrip airfare to/from your city of departure, to arrive in Baku on June 17 and depart on June 20 or 21.

Hotel accommodation from June 17 – 21, depending on arrival and departure dates.

Breakfast, coffee breaks, and lunch at the Summit on June 18 – 20.
What is Not Covered:

Transportation costs to and from the airport in the city of departure or in Baku

Meals or per diem on travel days or outside of that provided during the Summit

Visa procurement costs

Any other incidental expenses
Travel sponsorship is contingent upon the awardee successfully obtaining a visa, if necessary, to attend the FHF Global Summit in Baku. Documentation such as an invitation letter can be provided, but Forecasting Healthy Futures is unable to provide any other visa procurement support.
