The 3rd annual Global Summit, under the banner “Ecosystem Solutions for Health,” brought together experts from climate, health, and conservation fields to address the links between climate change and health ahead of COP30 in Belém, Brazil. Global health is increasingly impacted by the interconnected crises of climate change, biodiversity loss, and desertification.

The FHF Summit 2025 will convene experts and influencers from across these domains to advocate for an urgent and unified approach to mitigating that triple threat, and to explore coordinated adaptation strategies that can save lives today and build health systems fit for the future. A dynamic and interactive 3-day agenda will present new health sector evidence in support of urgent climate and conservation action, showcase promising new examples of nature-based and other solutions that can safeguard planetary and human health, and address the most relevant policy issues through insightful dialogue and debate. A focused symposium on the final day of the Summit will advance ongoing efforts to ensure adequate and equitable climate financing is available to those countries most vulnerable to the health impacts of climate change and biodiversity degradation.

The dynamic 3-day agenda is built around showcasing evidence, solutions, equipping advocates, and adequate and equitable financing.

Day 1: April 8, 2025 – Inspiring Innovation in Climate & Health: Demonstrating a systems approach to protecting global health from the impacts of climate change and showcasing multisectoral solutions for climate resilience.

Day 2: April 9, 2025 – Critical Climate Policy & Advocacy for Health: Empowering health advocates to demand urgent climate action, meaningful policy reform, and public-private partnership for effective adaptation to protect health in the most vulnerable parts of the world.

Day 3: April 10, 2025 – Joint Symposium on Climate Finance for Health: Advancing equitable access to financing for health sector adaptation and exploring new approaches to prioritizing and monitoring investments in climate resilience and improved health.
